When I was 18 I was in university and about to start an internship at a large company. My life looked almost perfect, everything was going well. That was when I lost my father.
I fell into depression, dropped out of university soon after, left the internship and started drinking. Over time the drinking grew, I began using drugs, and I was completely lost.
Then an aunt took me to a spiritual centre. I started attending and, little by little, I found my way back. I left the drugs and the alcohol behind and went back to studying. I went deeper into spirituality and, over time, I felt better and better, and I was able to work again.
Along that path I met hundreds of people who had been through situations like mine, and through many other kinds of difficulty. That is how, in short, I found myself through spirituality.
